Dear Principal,

I am writing to inform you that, effective immediately, I am withdrawing my child from your school. As of the date of this letter, my child will no longer be enrolled at this school and will instead be educated at home in accordance with Idaho law.

Idaho does not require parents to file a state notice of intent to withdraw and homeschool. This letter therefore serves as the record of withdrawal.

Please remove my child from your attendance roll as of the effective date below and forward all academic records to the address listed on this letter.
